The Title 1 program at Taku Elementary School is focused on working with students, teachers, and the parents to make every student's education at Taku sucessful. Title 1 teachers work with students either in the classroom or in the Title 1 room depending on availability of space. Title 1 teachers also work with classroom teachers to develop and implement curriculum, assess student achievement, and focus on student progress. |
The Taku Home School Coordinator is part of the Title 1 program. The Coordinator is there to assist Taku families to connect to support programs and services in the Anchorage community. |
