Betty's most recent book, a biography of Heather
Rose Brooks, would be of interest to horse lovers, teachers, health care professionals, and those who know or work with people
with special needs.
Betty is a member of the Southeastern Writers Association, the Charlotte Writers Club, and
the South Carolina Writers Workshop. She served as board member, chapter leader, and contest chair for the SCWW,
and co-edited the anthology in 2005 and 2006.
