The life of John(R) Robert Barthle

BARTHLE, Jerome J., 68, of St. Joseph,
died Friday, February 4, 2005,
at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City.
A native of St. Joseph,
he was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Hawaii.
He was employed in the citrus/agricultural industry
and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was the caretaker for
Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Joe for many years.
An avid Bucs fan,
he loved the outdoors, especially hunting.
Survivors include two brothers,
Benedict Barthle of St. Joe,
Andrew Barthle and wife, Pat, of St. Joe;
two sisters, Antoinette Lagere and husband, Robert of Fayetteville, Ga.,
Elizabeth Guertin and husband, Thomas, of Franklin, N.C.;
numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from
6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2005, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2005,
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Patrick Rebel as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in St. Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made
to either Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 32145 St. Joe Road, Dade City, FL 33525,
or Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 7066 Fort King Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33541.
