Photography is out of orbit, something that gets one away from the usual, the typical, and the ordinary. It leads one away from trying to describe what one does from the 9 to 5 (or longer), and everyone understands photography even if not all are technically proficient.

The work on these pages shows photographs that I've enjoyed making, places I've been sometimes just to take pictures, others to see the country or place. The photographs are representations of what I saw and in many cases felt when I visited whatever place was there.

These works are all digital, either directly or from scanning, so they have the limitations of that media because they are all displayed on a computer screen. From a "wet" photographer with years of darkroom experience, these show that bits and pixels can portray the world just as well but differently than wet pictures. Please enjoy, but do remember than the real print will always look better than a screen shot.
