| Artist Statement |
| I am intrigued by the experience of viewing a photograph. At the root of my process is an ongoing attempt to create images containing appealing objects that beg to be identified yet give few clues as to their size, location, or orientation. The goal is to initiate a quest for understanding that draws less from the photo itself and more from the imagination and intuition of the viewer. It is my hope that the art becomes less about the subjects in the photographs and more about the journey they help us begin and with any luck, the understanding they help us find. |
