Hay

Equine Eagles is home to 15 horses. Each horse eats approximately 3 tons of hay per year. At approximately $100 a ton, providing hay for our horses is an ongoing expense.  If you have hay you would like to donate please contact us.

The past experience of our horses gives them the ability to reach out to people in a unique way, making them what we call “equine therapists".  Sponsoring the care of one of our “equine therapists” assists Equine Eagles in our continuing efforts to offer healing programs to our clientele.  An annual donation of $1,200.00 will provide basic nutritional, medical, and farrier care for one horse. Annual pledges with monthly payments are welcome as well.

Child Sponsorship

The majority of the children enrolled in our programs are financially disadvantaged and rely on scholarships to receive services free of charge. With members of the community supporting and sponsoring children, Equine Eagles is able to continue to offer free services to needy children.  One time donations, as well as monthly or yearly donations are welcome.

Staff Education Sponsorships

Continuing the education of our staff is essential to providing quality service to the children. Certain certifications are required of each staff member such as 1st Aid, EAGALA, NARHA and PNH.  Each organization differs in the length and the need for renewal of the certification.

Volunteering

Whether you are a side walker, horse leader, groomer, or stable cleaner, you can play a vital role in the therapeutic riding experience that has proven to be helpful for so many.  We also need volunteers with carpenter, clerical, book-keeping and many other skills.  We need any talent you can offer.  Email or call us for more information!
