THE ORGANIZATION & ITS ACTIVITIES
Lake Neepaulin, a 25 acre lake, with a circumference of approximately one
mile, is nestled in the small community of Lake Neepaulin in Wantage Township, New Jersey. The Lake is used
primarily for fishing, boating, and swimming as well as for taking part in many fun activities. The beach at Lake Neepaulin
is approximately 200 feet. It displays an aura of attractiveness with a 15 foot high water fountain, flower gardens, gazebos,
park benches, playgrounds and white sand.
“Friends of Lake
Neepaulin” (FOLN) is a thriving, not for profit, tax-exempt association
which maintains and upgrades the beach and lake facilities. It sponsors a wide
variety of recreational programs, specifically for children, but also inclusive of adults.
Movie nights, camp-outs, picnics, regattas, adult and youth fishing contests, boat races, ice cream socials, bingo,
playgroups, nights out to dinner, and adult theme dances are just a few of the activities.
Halloween parades and parties, Easter egg hunts, Christmas tree lightings, Santa’s visits thru town, and Civil
War reenactments are some of the special events.
FOLN
conducts business meetings eleven months out of the year (December excluded). Anyone,
who is interested, is always encouraged to attend.
