Bo Peep and his play sheep...okay it's really a horse
A Beau and his toy, at 7 months

Beauregard: a dog of a different shade of brown...
Chessies come in different color variations, such as brown, dark brown (like Zoe), sedge (a reddish sort of brown like Beau), deadgrass (looks just like it sounds), and silver (pretty rare).
Beau, who responds more readily to Bo Peep, came from a Rockrun Kennel in Binghamton, New York. We ended our search there for Zoe's future suitor and the missing half of the foundation for our own kennel.
Beau and Zoe are great companions. Zoe used to be very protective of him around strangers and other dogs, but now that he's bigger than she, he holds his own.
Beau has started his career in the show ring and took first place in the 9-12 month-old puppy dog division his first time out. He came home with a ceramic mallard for a trophy, but as you can see, he'd much rather abscond with one of the children's stuffed animals. Zoe and Beau napping

To the right we have Sue with Judge honoring Beau with the Best of Breed winner's ribbon at the Providence Kennel Club July, 2000 show. Beau is following in Zoe's pawprints earning his way toward a champion status.
