THE MINISTERS OF MATABELELAND CHRISTIAN MISSION.

This is Gaylord Dhlamini. He has been working with us as an Evangelist and Teacher since 1985. He lives in Nketa township, Bulawayo with his wife, Thengile, and their 6 children. Most Sundays, he serves as the Minster of the Lobengula Church of Christ.

He is also responsible for overseeing the Work of the Lord down in the GWANDA AREA - 90 miles south of Bulawayo, where he travels, by bus, in order to deliver Bicycles, Spare Parts, Bibles and whatever other items are needed by the other Ministers who live and work in that area and minister to the needs of 10 congregations.

The Christians in this area have been suffering under persistent drought conditions, for many years now, and so he also helps to supervise the Distibution of Drought Relief Food, in that area.

This is Gaylord Dhlamini with one of the new Bicycles to be delivered to one of our Rural Ministers, working out in the GWANDA area. Bicycles are the best mode of transport , and each minister may put 100 or more miles on one each week.

We take pleasure in introducing you to our overseas ministers. Many of these men have taken in several ORPHANS and now have EXTENDED FAMILIES. I have made a notation, next to the word "DEPENDANTS:" which is followed by some numbers. The first represents the number of their own children and the second is the number of orphans added to their families. I have listed the names of the churches where they MINISTER under the heading of "AREAS:" followed by a number representing their average attendance. Each month we will detail one of these ministers with a short biography. Previous biographies will be moved to the ARCHIVE PAGE.
