Religious Science International The Religious Science International organization (RSI) is a mutual association of individual churches throughout the world that have joined together in a united effort to teach the principles of the metaphysical thought system called Science of Mind. Incorporated in 1949 as the International Association of Religious Science Churches (IARSC), the international church organization was founded and guided by Dr. Ernest Holmes, who began his metaphysical teachings in 1917. Believing that true spiritual unity can most effectively be manifested in a spiritual democracy, the organization is governed as such. Religious Science International holds an annual Congress, at which every church is represented. It is administered by a Board of Directors elected by the Congress. Each church within the organization operates autonomously, but subscribes to and operates within the by-laws and polices approved by the Board of Directors. The monthly publication "Creative Thought" magazine has a list of all RSI churches as well as daily Spiritual Mind Treatments and inspirational articles. It is available at the Discovery Bookstore. For more information, visit RSI's web site. |
