Act of Consecration of Man in its New Form
Christmas Day in the Christian Community is marked by a threefold
celebration of The Act of Consecration of Man: Midnight on Christmas Eve, Dawn
and Day on Christmas.
The epistles read at the beginning and end of the service at Midnight
and at dawn are heard only once in every year, while the
epistle read at 10:30 a.m. is read every day through the twelve days of
Christmas.
In the Christmas Service for
Children the meaning of Christ’s coming is brought into the present with
beautiful, pictorial language placed before the soul of the child. It is
celebrated only once in the year.
