Profile

My name is Cyndia (Cindy) Thebeau.  I was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended school in the Fort Worth ISD.  I received my Bachelor's (elem. ed./history) and Master's (educational adm.) degrees from the University of North Texas.  I taught 7th and 8th grade history at Kennedale Junior High, in Kennedale, Texas for 10 years...and was assistant principal the last year before moving to Maryland.  I made many friends in Kennedale and miss them very much.  Thanks to the internet, I'm able to keep up with several of them through E-mail and mIRC.  In the summer of 1998 my family and I moved back to Texas.  I am now teaching at the East Central Independent School District.  My time to work on my quilts is limited now, but hopefully during the holidays I will be able to continue working on them.

I am married with two wonderful children.....and one terrific grandchild.  My daughter, Amy is a Staff Sgt. in the Air Force, and my son, Matt, is in the Navy.

I have been dabbling in quilting for many years and  have generated about thirty quilts.  I mainly quilt for family and friends.....but have sold two or three of my quilts and taken special orders.

My other hobby is chatting on mIRC.  You can find me there in the #Army channel or in #35+NetCafe.....two of the friendliest channels on mIRC!   My nick is Cyn-1....stop by and chat sometime!  I have made many life-long friends!

Last but not least....I want to thank RadBoss for all his help on this webpage.....without his help this would not have come about....Thanks Rad.....you are a sweety!!!
