Sleep Out for the Homeless 10/28/04

About 15 Greens and peace activists slept out to bring attention to the plight of the
homeless in Dutchess County. We were supported by the following organizations:
Poughkeepsie Friends Meeting, Grace Smith House, Real Majority, Hudson
River Housing, Inc., PEOPLe, Inc. and Dutchess Outreach.

With billions spent on war, there is nothing left for our needy.

We set up at the Friends on Hooker Ave.
Coats and blankets were donated all through the night.
Margaret was the most authentic.
Carol was interviewed by Cable 6.

We listened to the stories of the homeless.
And discussed changing America's priorities.
Several Marist students joined us for the night.
