fun with TaeKwon- Do. We work not only on rank requirements, but on all
areas of TaeKwon-Do. We play games, compete in
fun contests, and more. Camp runs five days Cost: $75.00 per week of camp. If you sign up for both camps, you will receive a $5 discount on the second camp. Camp I: June 23-27 Women's Self-Defense Classes On May 18th and on June 8th, Great Lakes Global TaeKwon-Do will offer 4-hour Women's Self-Defense Classes. Master Wheatley Seminar Master
Drysdale will be hosting a seminar with Master
Wheatley Saturday, June 21 at Christ the Following the seminar, there will be a banquet; the cost of the banquet is $29.95. Attendance at the banquet is optional. For registration information, see Mrs. Van Zile. CANCELLATION INFORMATION In case of severe weather where we must close the school we will attempt to inform you through 2 methods. The first and most effective way is through e-mail. If we do not have your e-mail address, please give it to us. I also recommend you check to make sure we have your current e-address as well. Our other way is via the TV stations 11, 24, or 36.

2007 World Tournament Results Great Lakes Global Taekwon-Do took 8 students to the World Championships in Birmingham, England August 1-5, after qualifying in Pleasanton, CA in April. Mrs. Carol Van Zile served as the Jr. Men's Team Coach and the assistant Sr. Men's Team Coach. Our Junior Men's Team won the Team All-around - 1st place of 14 competing teams (as determined by the most medals won). Our team took gold medals in power breaking and specialty breaking, and Bronze in team sparring. Great Lakes Global Black Belts on the team were: Zane Bauman, Amit Goyal, Nick Larberg and Benjamin Van Zile. In Jr. Men's Individual Competition, Mr. Benjamin Van Zile was named the Jr. Male Champion, earning gold in specialty breaking and power breaking, and bronze in hyper-weight sparring and 3rd degree patterns. Amit Goyal took Bronze in 3rd degree patterns. Others who earned 5th place honors were Brittany Markward in hyperweight sparring, and Zane Baumann in 1st degree patterns. In the Sr. Men's Division, Mr. Jonathan Van Zile and Mr. Andrew Pasternak competed as members of the Sr. Men's Team. They won a bronze medal in patterns. Congratulations to all who competed, and to Mrs. Van Zile for her skill and dedication in training and coaching these competitors. Our instructor and these students have put our school on the world Taekwon-Do map! Great Lakes Global Taekwon-Do is truly a World Class School training world class athletes!
