• High Altitude Gardening Conditions.  At 8,150 feet above sea level, my gardening conditions are quite different from other parts of the United States.  In this topic, I summarize my observations about gardening in Pine, CO.
• Choosing a Vegetable Garden Site.   I have learned that full sun is not necessarily good here at high altitude.  Here, I discuss where my vegetable garden is located and what I would do differently.
• Christmas Tree Dilemma .  We usually purchase a cut tree for Christmas.  Is this a good idea?
• Lowering the Soil pH .  Soils at high altitudes tend to be alkaline.  I discuss why this is detrimental to growing most vegetables and what you can do to lower the soil pH.
