This page is only a beginning.  The accompanying photograph shows a few of the wild flowers that grow on our property.  We have asters, wild rose, penstemon, wild geranium, hare bells, bed straw, pasque flowers, fairy trumpets, and miners candles, to name but a few.  (A note about the vase of flowers:  These flowers were picked on my own property in a year where each was abundant.  Please do not pick rare or endangered wildflowers, how would they reseed themselves if you do?)

In wetter summers, our meadows are so densely populated with wild flowers, I find it difficult to walk through the meadows without stepping on any of them.

I have just started identifying and photographing our flowers.  Therefore, this page will be completed over time.
