Atlatic Center for the Arts, New Smyrna Beach, FL, September 2003

I was invited by Marc Ricketts, an award winning designer of kites, to participate in a month long residency at ACA. Masterminded by the singular Tal Streeter, the Wind Art Residency consisted of artists of many different wind and air related diciplines, from kite-aerial photographers to a composer who wrote an opera about Amelia Aerhardt. I am still in fruitful contact with many of these artists. The facilities were wonderful and accomodated all our various needs. The little utopia was abuzz with activity around the clock and Thomas Jekel of Germany recorded much of it beautifuly. Click on photo at right for his visual reports.
