I made these cosmic beings as part of my CustomCon 14 "Marvel Universe: Unfinished Business Series 7" line.
Living Tribunal - started as a 10" Silver Surfer, made a resin cast of his face to get the three faces. Hood made from Kneadatite. Used Bare Metal Foil on his chest to make it more shiny. Head is connected to the body by a clear plastic tube so that it appears to be floating and can rotate. Here's a small WIP (work-in-progress) pic
Infinity - took a 12" Movie
Fantastic Four Invisible Girl, dremeled down the
body, removed hair, used milliput for bald head. Not quite on-model, sort
of a
cross between Ron Lim's and Jim Starlin's art from the Infinity series.
Eon - Used a Styrofoam tube for the
trunk, covered with sculpey clay. Eyeball
was made from sculpey, hand from a Venom the Madness figure, arm is kneadatite
over
wire. Human face is a resin casting of the Silver Surfer head I used in
the Living
Tribunal custom, veins and roots were made from kneadatite and milliput.
Central
root flows over a peg connecting him to a base stand. Rooted hair was
scalped from
an unknown doll.
Ego the Living Planet - Started as a 12"
diameter Styrofoam ball, covered with
Sculpey clay. I used the same method for the smaller planets.
Milliput was used
for his nose, brow, beard and lips. Kneadatite used for the other features
of the
planets. He is in pretty good scale with the Transformers Armada Unicron
and the
War Planets Beast Planet.
