I have noticed recently there is an issue of this website i.e. Alpha Wave Movement's homepage taking an extremly long time to load. Please be patient I am looking into the reason behind this issues and will try and have it cleared up briefly.

In mid July the audio portion of DVD Terra will be released on cd with new artwork and a bonus track inspired by the grandious visuals from the dvd. The mp3 samples will be availble to listen to in the next few days so please stop by.

Drifted Into Deeper Lands is now available on I-Tunes. Please check the link on the Difted Into Deeper Lands page located on the Discography page. If you have problems linking to the I-Tunes store give it another try in a day or two as it takes I-Tunes a few days to get the cd ready for download even tho the links is readily available. If you own the orginal version on Groove Unlimited you might want to pick up the new version availble on I-Tunes for the bonus track and corrected audio glitch(minor glitch on the original release!).

All Harmonic Resonance Recordings releases will be made available these will include Alpha Wave Movement, Gregory Kyryluk and Thought Guild.

A new compilation of ambient music is now out on the UK label Ambientlive "Awakenings 2007 Volume 2.5". This compilations features mainly European artists with the additiona of Alpha Wave Movement. Many of the tracks found on this release are exclusive to this compilation. Awakenings 2007 2.5 features an unreleased track by Alpha Wave Movement composed in 2005. The re-release of Alpha Wave Movement "Drifted Into Deeper Lands" is now available and is currently en-route to CD Baby. This was originally released in 2000 on the Dutch Groove Unlimited and now available from HRR with new artwork, slightly better audio quality and a bonus track "Canyon Clouds" sure to appease those yearning to listen deep into the night. This is a much more introspective and expansive cd with guest guitar performance by Jeff Pearce. If you enjoyed "Bislama" this release is on par compositionally and in a sense a very meditative experience.

The new Alpha Wave Movement cd "The Mystic & The Machine" is now available from CD Baby Audio clips are available both here on the website, CD baby and on the Alpha Wave Movement "MySpace" page.

This release will represent a direct departure from the past musical ventures of Alpha Wave Movement at least for this particular release.

The Mystic & the Machine represents a music voyage into the realms of electronic based progressive rock music. The music is all electronic in nature with the addition of electric guitar on four of the tracks. The focus was a classic 1970's sound and feel created with modern day digital synthesizers (built in the last 20 years).

I must give UK synthesist/guitarist Steve Hillman a warm thank you for performing the much needed guitar parts on this recording. I very infrequently or never use live instrumentation but I did feel his timbre and style was a very much needed element that brought a new dimension to a few of the more uptempo pieces. Please check out "Steve Hillman's" music as well as his progressive rock collaboration with RA.

The ambient electronica label "Ambientlive" in the UK will be re-releasing the second Alpha Wave Movement cd "The Edge of Infinity" soon with bonus music, new art and slightly tweaked audio. This release was originally released on the Dutch Groove Unlimited label in 1997 and has been out of print for a few years now. Some listeners consider the release to be Transcendence Part II.

Ambientlive will also be releasing two unreleased Alpha Wave Movement tracks on their up and coming Ambientlive compilations. These AWM tracks are all exclusive to the Ambientlive compilations and will not be released anywhere else so please check their site out.
