into the past
Ancestors are so vast
To wonder how they all lived
through lives of strife
To know that pieces of me
are remenants of a hard life
I thank-you all
for the hard work you did
Required since you were a small
kid
To look into the
mirror
and wonder what bits
I feel like a creation
built from a kit
A kit from bits and pieces
from faces unknown
from seeds covered in sweat
never to
be thrown
I pass my bits and pieces
to carry on
