5.2 Scarce vintage Metayer China yacht wash basin stationed in its original teak cabinet. Most landlubbers would not know what was nested in this teak cabinet as pictured. However, with door lowered a rare example of shipboard furniture is revealed, a vintage wash station from a classic yacht.

5.3 Large Flare Gun with nickel plated finish over heavy brass construction with hammer and trigger mechanism in working order. Of course, these were handy when distress signals were indicated for plotting rescues. Heavily cast crosshatched, non-slip, textured grip with lanyard attached for lifeboat station. Overall dimensions: 11" X 8-1/2" X Barrel diameter of 1-5/8". Markings:

5.4 Rare Wood Builder's Model of a Ship's Anchor. Probably not a patent model; nevertheless we've only discovered a couple of these over the years. Model formed with a dozen pieces of joined pine stamped with #100 in five places. Model was used to design anchor for foundry manufacture. Model condition is pretty good as found with a few minor age checks as pictured.
