This weblog is our online journal. You'll find a synopsis of our travels and RV living as well as links to other things on the web that we find interesting.   Remember, you can click on the pictures to get a larger image in another window.  You can also click on the dates at the end of this page to read archived journal entries.   As you click through the pages, take your time.  Notice that the blogs begin in May of 2006 - so there's lots of reading if you go back in history.  Know that we are enjoying life to its fullest and hope you are too.  Enjoy!

Back on I-10 after Baton Rouge was a series of bridges and bumpy roads.  The Texas Information Center at the Sabine River is architecturally interesting as is the boardwalk over the Blue Elbow Swamp.  Then we remembered the miniscule exit and entrance ramps on Texas interstates - Paul calls them dangerously inadequate.  The weather is great; we're at a campground to dump grey water and enjoy electricity tonight.

"Women are from Venus, men are wrong" - Gerald McRaney on Jericho last night.  Hee, hee, hee.   Regina did her driving for the season:  from the Welcome Center in Alabama to the Welcome Center in Mississippi - good road, low bridges, and just that one short tunnel and no big city traffic.  We're stopped for the night at the WMSC just east of Baton Rouge.  Paul even goes into the WM when we're parked there;  Regina likes the walk around the store.  Well, we are staying warm - 80 degrees today and shorts.  See you in Texas tomorrow.

Greetings from WalMart Supercenter in Ensley (Pensacola) FL.  We have decided to go west before going north to Iowa - just want to stay warm a bit longer; it's just a bit too cool in Madison, WI.  Regina spent Saturday a.m. at Leon High School meeting with Latin students, former colleagues, and parents; then Paul and Regina drove on the new roads around FSU Doak Campbell Stadium before attending the Garnet and Gold Game at Bobby Bowden Field.  That evening Rachel joined us for the Leon High School Grand Reunion 2 celebration at the civic center.  The music and drama departments put on an excellent show; Tishamingo, Eli, Wilson Dean and others provided dance music later.  So many people - 5000+  - so little time.
We were saddened by the shootings at Va Tech; life can be so unpredictable.
