Holiday Newsletter 2005

Greetings!

Hope you are all well and happy. We are! We have corresponded with many of you by e-mail so we’ll try to keep this short - well, of reasonable length anyway.

This missive is coming from Lion Country Safari KOA campground. We are spending the holidays with our moms and siblings who all reside within 25 miles of each other in Palm Beach County, Florida. How lucky are we!

As of November 18th, Paul is a graduate of RVSA (Recreational Vehicle Service Academy); he also passed all parts of his RV Tech certification exams and the EPA air conditioning refrigerant exams. This all means that he is, theoretically, qualified to do service and repair work on all kinds of RVs. So what does an RV tech need? Tools? Well, yes, lots of those. A tool box? Definitely, and not just any tool box, but one or two of those big rolling boxes. We are driving to Tallahassee for Christmas Eve with Rachel and to pick up tool boxes (from a previous life) stored in the warehouse. Okay, one more thing - a truck? Oh, yeah! Since ‘truck’ needs to be a ‘toad’ we did our research and found a 2006 Chevy Colorado 4X4 automatic crew cab, silver birch metallic with dark pewter interior that will look just fine next to ARV. Within a week Paul installed a diamond plate tool box and a tonneau cover. Now we’re waiting for towing base plates to be made so truck can follow ARV.

We will be spending the winter at Royal Coachman RV Resort in Nokomis, Florida. Regina will be enjoying the many activities at the resort while Paul spends his days working at RV World Inc., just three miles away. He is looking forward to putting his new found knowledge to work and learning more on the job. The plan is to get back on the road in June, 2006.

Rachel is doing well at her office for Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage in Tallahassee. She is busy but is always looking for more clients to fill her days. Besides keeping the office open, Rachel is looking for land east of Tallahassee with water rights and open spaces for Buddy and TieDye.

We are continuing to enjoy every fun-filled and adventurous day. Hope your holidays are joyful and the new year is filled with happiness.

Sincerely,

Paul and Regina
