Jodie and I will be in Wellington, NZ until July, 2004. Jodie is here as an Ian Axford Fellow to study work/life
policies here. She'll be working in the Ministry for Social Development, the biggest ministry in the NZ government.
Barry is along for the ride, on a leave of absence from Fannie Mae, to provide housekeeping and catering services while polishing
his trout fishing, clay shooting, diving, and other recreational skills, although I will be travelling to a number of other
countries on Fannie Mae's behalf to help develop business opportunities for our International Housing Finance Services group.
There are so many things we've seen and done since arriving here! It's hard to know how to organize the information,
show our photos, and share our impressions. We've climbed great mountains, biked into a gale, been buzzed by a pod of
dolphins while kayaking the Milford Sound, met interesting people and made new friends, forded fast running streams and
waterfalls, seen incredible vistas, and shifted into a very different pace of life, all in a short span of time. My
organization of these experiences may take a while, so bear with us. To read on, click on the pages listed at the top.
The first "episode" is "First Days in Wellington."
