about Bliss Tone is my production company rooted in sound design, performance and composition. I started off in music primarily as a performer (percussion). As I began working in audio, I found in addition to performance, I also enjoyed using recording to express musical ideas. Soon I started working with other artists as the sound component in their work, which presently is my main focus. I use real and electronic instrumentation. Being a percussionist, I find I am most drawn to the varying sound qualities percussion can have, especially in a digital environment where you can sculpt sounds so precisely. Inversely, sometimes a very simple sound is all the is needed and I have used pieces recorded with one mic straight to tape. I first try to imagine musically what could work and then figure out the best way to produce the outcome. I am available as
a sound design/composer in the following scenarios: I take on projects mainly based on ideas I can lend to and enjoy, along with the scope and schedule of the project.
