listen... Autobody live in the studio, June 24, 2002 on WFMU's Scott WIlliams show MP3's (EXCERPTS - full versions available): "Nails", S. McCarthy, 2004, (468K) Background music used in Inkboat's dance performance "Ame to Ame". A song made from, yes, nails, and put through a filter I made recording my heater! "9", Drumhead, 2002, (1048K): From new Drumhead material and editing, used in my video "bike", 2003. Never released, this is a version of the song using a Soft Machine sample in the end, whereas the original has a regular organ. "Lopside", S. McCarthy, 2003, (1049K): More music used from Inkboat's dance performance"Ame to Ame" this is a drum machine midi piece. "Booger Brains", S. McCarthy, 1984 (582K): I decided to put in this oldie - the first four track mix down I ever did! I ended up rerecording this song with Autobody in 1996. I had just discovered backwards tape and echo, so forgive me! "Bloated and Misshapen", Autobody (written by Dave Abel), 2001 (1472K): One of my favorite Autobody songs - both me and Eric Marc Cohen playing drums, Jim Abramson on bass and Dave Abel on Guitar, and Dave and Eric on vocals, as well. This showed up on the "Xelp" release. "Game Piece 1", S. McCarthy, 2004 (642K): This was music I wrote for playback during a themed show (Games theme) in Brooklyn's Office Ops, Radio Free103point9 show "Game Overture II", played with Linda Hagood on Nov. 20, 2004. "Yeah", S. McCarthy, 2005 (541K): New music for the "A Love that Never Dies" zombie movie I am currently finishing editing. This is for one of the fantasy scenes: while her boyfriend is going down on her, she is fantasizing the zombie is ripping her guts out. "Untitled - (sad piece)", S. McCarthy, 2004 (689K): Originally written for a 2002 Halloween performance with the Comb, as music to go along with the silent film presentation from free103point9 "The Fall of the House of Usher". Updated and finished to be used in the zombie movie. "Thing", Autobody, 2002, (597K): a mix I did of various Autobody take outs and worked into a piece, which was features on the Old Gold 7" release. "Toast", Drumhead with Josh Matthews and Tony Maimone, 1999 (693K): From the self-titled Drumhead release (Perishable Records), recorded with one mic and four tracks in Josh's apartment and Tony's kitchen. |
