the quiet 1000+ acre lake in one of our kayaks or canoes. Don't forget
to bring your camera, there are so many photo opportunities. The beauty
is a must see, words can not begin to describe it. Banks Lake is
also mentioned in a book about the best bass fishing in Georgia. It is
a challenge to those who have never fished here before and many bass tournaments
are held here each year.. There is also a small walking trail to enjoy.
Keep your camera ready to shoot pictures of our many types of wildlife.
Our store has just about everything one will need, live bait and tackle,
gifts, snacks and fishing licenses. We also rent canoes and kayaks.
So come down and paddle your way into another world, one of beauty and
serenity.
Canoe and Kayak
rentals: $25.00 a day
this includes the
life vests and paddles.
Night fishing is
allowed. There is no launch fee.There isn't a motor size limit but careful
navigation is advised due to the many stumps etc.
Fishing tournaments
and some other activities require a special use permit. You can find the
information about that on the regulation page.
