We are lucky that most of our family members live close by, with both sets of grandparents living only a few minutes away! Maryanne’s younger brother and Bert’s two brothers and their families live within half an hour from us. Maryanne’s older brother and his family live in Southern California, perfect for trips to our favorite theme park, Disneyland! Bert’s twin sisters and their families live in Iowa. We are a very close family and enjoy getting together for the holidays, family barbecues, birthdays or just to eat Chinese food! When we are all together we enjoy playing card games and Monopoly, as well as playing with the kids outdoors. Everyone is very excited and supportive about welcoming a new baby into our family.
