Seals, Trumps and Vials

Seals Trumps and Vials

Part 1-- The Seals

There is much interest and many opinions on the significance, symbolism and timing of these events as given in the Book of Revelation, beginning with chapter 6. We will examine them in detail in what follows, using examples written in the Word. As is well known, the Lord gave the “signs of the end” in Matt 24 and MK 13. Some have assumed that the signs given in the Gospels are the seals of Revelation. The companion Bible, app 152, gives some of the signs “of the end of the age” asked by the disciples in Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. I say “some” here, for several reasons.

First: Though the signs are similar to the seals, and even fit with some of them, an interpretation that the signs given in the Gospels are the same as the seals of Revelation has required further claims that the seals are “out of order”. That bothers me. I have a big problem accepting that Fathers word is “out of order” anywhere. I just refuse to accept that premise. Hence, I prefer to believe that the signs are more likely one of the many ‘types’ as regards the future end, rather than they are ‘out of order‘. I believe it is much more likely that man’s interpretation is out of order. And, in history, the many things that were foretold were indeed witnessed including the surrounding of the city by armies, the desolation of the temple by Antiochus and the destruction of the temple by Titus did indeed happen to that generation. Are they also a type for us? Yes Indeed. Is the event order the same? Not according to the seals in Revelation.

Second: As the Lord stated in Daniel 12:9, “the Words” have been sealed until the time of the end. We are not there yet, and we obviously were not at the time of the end when the disciples asked Him the signs.

Third: It has been said that the number 6 corresponds with the appearance of Satan as antichrist de facto. That is, he appears on the sixth seal, trump and vial. If that is the case, he must make more than one appearance. One can see from a cursory reading of Rev. that ALL the 7 seals on the scroll of Rev 5 must be opened (ch 6 through 7) before the first trump is blown., and all the trumps must sound before any of the vials are poured out.

Perhaps some of the confusion regarding the order of the signs of the Gospels and the seals of Revelation comes from a misunderstanding of the order of the end time events. A study of these event orders given in Daniel were previously discussed and described in the “Daniel‘s 70 Weeks” presentation. Here it was shown the definitions and continuity of Father’s word as relayed to Daniel and verified in Revelation. The reader of this present post will have a hard time making sense of the conclusions expressed here without first realizing what Daniel was told. Jesus said He had, for the Elect, shortened the “time”. (Matt 24:22 & MK 13:20). Many have mistakenly used this scripture to say --See- here is the ‘rapture’ again. The problem is that He clearly says that if this was not done, no FLESH would be saved. All should now realize that this couldn’t be their ‘rapture’ for the reason that their flesh body can’t fly, and “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Heaven. (1Cor 15:50).

The time periods from the Daniel study which are necessary to understand the timing of the seals, trumps and vials in the Revelation are:

1) The 1150 day period corresponding to the “2300 Evening-mornings or 2300 daily sacrifices”.

2) The 140 day period or “5 moons” of Revelation chapter 9. (In Daniel 12:11-12, this is the difference between 1290 and the 1150.

3) The 45 day period following the appearance of the “abomination of the desolator” which is the appearance of Satan himself, in person. This is fairly obvious from Dan 12:12 as the difference between the 1290 and the 1335. Thus Satan himself, in person, only has that 45 day period, not 3 years, nor even 150 days.

It is important to note that as the Lord concludes the book of Daniel, (12:12) our blessing commences on this 1335th day. It’s almost a certainty that this 1335th day begins the millennium period which we all hunger for.

Now with prayer for understanding, let us go to the book of Revelation, beginning at chapter 6.

We will start with the last couple of verses, and work backwards through the chapter. I know this is a strange way to study, but as we progress, I think it will become clear why we choose to start at the end of the chapter.

Rev. 6:12-17 The 6th Seal

The last verse of ch 6, Rev 6:17, utters the first person quote of men declaring the knowledge that "the great of the day of God's wrath has come". This statement happens before the "first trump" is described in Rev 8:7 because the trumps are not sounded until after the 7th seal is opened. Yet, it is often read over, and such haste causes one to miss at least one main thought as well. That is, we may be tempted to assign this "Day of God's Wrath" as described in of 6:17 as the SECOND tribulation, for we have thought that only when all are changed into the millennium age will "men" understand indeed that the "Day has Come". We are also aware that this "Day of God's Wrath" does not occur until the seventh trump. Do we then have to accept chapter 6 as an "overview" chapter, and ascribe the other seals of this chapter as only describing key features of the trumps and seals mentioned in subsequent chapters? If we do accept Ch 6 as an "overview", are we not then forced to look earlier in chapter 6 for some evidence of the appearance of Satan and his deception? To be fair, yes we are. Thus, let us study this chapter 6 backwards, asking and attempting to answer questions as we proceed.

I think you will agree that Satan de facto is not present in this chapter at all. One place that appears parallel to the events of 6:12 thru 6:16 that describe this "Day of Wrath" (of V 17) is found in Rev 11:13. The events of 6:12 also are similar to Joel 2:31 and Acts 2:20, where the Holy Spirit is speaking through His Elect, which parallels the witnessing being done there in Rev 11.

Normally, we accept that this "speaking" occurs ONLY when the Elect are confronted with Satan, de facto, for until that time that we are delivered up, we are in the "evil" time of Amos 5:13 and 6:10. The wise will recognize this "evil" time (prior to Satan de facto) and be careful what we disclose and to whom we disclose it. After all, “Satan de facto” was not the case when the prophesying took place in Acts 2. Father was merely fulfilling a prophecy to His children

Because we know the speaking is to be done at the proper time, we may want to assume Satan COULD be around when the events of 6: 12-17 occur, but ,actually, we should KNOW better than to think this. Why so? Well we know Satan comes peacefully and prosperously, right? All this bad stuff doesn’t sound too peaceful to me.

What I am inferring is this-- Satan MAY be on earth de facto during the time of these plagues, and the seals could be happening in rapid succession, BUT it would be out of character for him to be responsible for them.

Let’s look at another explanation.

We turn to Rev 11:3-6 and find that the witnesses have the ability to smite the earth with ALL plagues, shutting heaven if they will, as often as they will. Some of the key words here in these verses are “power“ “shut” and “plagues” , which are defined as follows:

1849 exousia- (THAYERS)

1) power of choice, liberty of doing as one pleases,

permission

2) physical and mental power,

the ability or strength with which one is endued, which he either possesses or exercises

3) the power of authority (influence) and of right (privilege)

4) the power of rule or government (the power of him whose will and commands must be submitted to by others and obeyed)

a) universally,

authority over mankind

b) specifically,

1) the power of judicial decisions

2) of authority to manage domestic affairs

c) metonymically,

1) a thing subject to authority or rule

jurisdiction

2) one who possesses authority

a) a ruler, a human magistrate

b) the leading and more powerful among created beings superior to man, spiritual potentates

d) a sign of the husband's authority over his wife

the veil with which propriety required a women to cover herself

e) the sign of regal authority, a crown

1849 exousia (ex-oo-see'-ah); (STRONGS)

from 1832 (in the sense of ability); privilege, i.e. (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence:

KJV-- authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

2808 kleio- (THAYERS)

1) to shut, to shut up

2) metaphorically:

a) to cause the heavens to withhold rain

b) to shut up compassion so that it is like a thing inaccessible to one, to be devoid of pity toward one

c) to obstruct the entrance into the kingdom of heaven

2808 kleio (kli'-o); (STRONGS)

a primary verb; to close (literally or figuratively):

KJV-- shut (up).

4127 plege- (THAYERS)

1) a blow, a stripe, a wound

2) a public calamity, a heavy affliction, a plague,

4127 plege (play-gay'); (STRONGS)

from 4141; a stroke; by implication, a wound; figuratively, a calamity:

KJV-- plague, stripe, wound (-ed).

It is obvious in chapter 11 that Father endows these 2 witnesses with awesome power. He gives them power from Heaven, at least as much and as awesome as He gave Elijah when Elijah called down fire to destroy the ones who came from Ahab and to take him into custody. The purpose of this gift of power is not to destroy but to warn, and to convince all that the message of God‘s Savior is not only both true and necessary for Salvation, it is to convince all that the time is short and getting shorter..

Recall also another great witness for Father. Consider Moses and the awesome miracles he brought forth to the Israelites as they traveled in the wilderness. Recall the plagues on their enemies and the protection Father gave him to use for his people.

The modern world, used to Hollywood stunts and movies will not be convinced with lights and mirrors, nor some localized phenomena. In this case, the plagues are sufficient to convince much of mankind that these 2 witnesses indeed receive their power from God. The plagues on mankind involving the sun and moon will spark a great revival, much as Peter and the apostles did on Pentecost day as described in Acts, as Elijah did with the Israelites in the baal sacrifice contest, and much as Moses did many times in the Exodus..

Thus, it makes a great deal of sense not to assume that it is Satan who brings forth the statement of the non-believing world in Rev 6:12-17, at the opening of the sixth seal. Satan poses as a peaceful critter, remember?

These 2 witnesses are endowed with the complete covering of the Holy Spirit, so thick that ordinary humans can literally feel God and His message through them. No wonder the common folk know these 2 are from God, and that they are issuing mankind the final warning. Yes, they (the world) WILL know the day of wrath is at hand.

Why after 2000+ years, would Father decide to allow His anointed to start upsetting the kenite applecart? Well for one thing, He promised His wayward children, the Israelites, that He would. Also, the father of the kenites just may be hanging around, posing as Christ.

Lev 26:14-32

14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate.

23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.

32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. (KJV)

NOTICE the judgments He sends. Enemies (war) Famine, Pestilences, destruction of cities, destruction of religions (high places), breaking the pride of power. Are these sounding familiar? We will find them all in this 6th chapter of Revelation.

We will see that Rev 6: 9-11, as well as Ch 7 adds some additional support for the idea that it is indeed the deeds attributed to the 2 witnesses which are discussed in Rev 6 verses, 12-17, for we see immediately following them, in the first verse of chapter 7, the sealing of the 144000. This along with 6:17 is a direct result of the plagues, power and teaching of the 2 witnesses. Finally, in chapter 11, the 2 are killed, just as prophesied in 6:11.

Rev 6: 9-11 The 5th Seal

This scene describes what is happening in Heaven just prior, apparently to the final days of the appearance on earth of the two witnesses

There are myriads of martyrs beneath the Altar. What was the cause in which they suffered-- the Word of God and the testimony which they held, for believing the Word of God, and attesting or confessing the truth of it; this profession of their faith they held fast without wavering, even though they died for it. A noble cause, the best that any man can lay down his life for--Faith in Father‘s Word, and confession of that Faith.

These Saints received a reward, white robes symbolic of the blessings and purity of Christ. Another, relevant passage further describes the scene. In Rev 14, verse 6-13 we can picture the scene more clearly.

The Angel who has this everlasting good news is about to deliver it to the 2 witnesses, and gives them power to make sure they will be heard and understood. This news is simultaneously delivered to the Saints in Heaven as we see in Rev 6: 9-11 as the 2 Witnesses begin their final 40 days. It is interesting that these 2 witnesses cause these 144,000 sealed ones to sing the “New Song” don’t you think?

Rev 14: 6-13

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

(KJV)

Revelation 6:3-8 The 2nd through the 4th Seal

Look at Ezekiel 14:21

For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? (KJV)

We saw earlier the promise of these plagues as given in Leviticus.

We can see that the opening of these 3 Seals bring War, Famine and pestilence, in that order. There is a natural as well as judicial connection between one judgment and another: War is a wasting calamity, and draws scarcity and famine after it; and famine, not allowing men proper sustenance, and forcing them to take that which is unwholesome, often draws the pestilence after it.

We find that the fourth seal opening brings the "pale" horse of verse of V8.

A unique word indeed, this word "green". It is used only four times in the Word. Once in Mk 6:39 and three times in Revelation-- 6:8, 8:7 and 9:4. Rev 8:7 is the sounding of the FIRST trump, and 9:4 is the description of the locust army as is also described in Joel 2. In 6:8, of course, it is the "color" of the horse. Since the word is in the Greek "green", it is certainly a strange color for a horse. It should attract lots of attention, should you actually see such a horse. But I’m afraid only if you see it with spiritual eyes, will it be "green". Jesus actually tells us what to use to decode this word in Mk 6:39, the "feeding" of the multitude. Perhaps it is fitting that this rider brings famine and pestilence, for we are to look to our Father for our care in that time He is reminding us that grass is green, and we should sit in orderly rows and feed on His Word and Heavenly bread at that time. (see Mk 6:39)

Verses 5 and 6 tell of the famine produced by the war and the kenites.

Upon opening the third seal, which John was directed to observe, another horse appears, different from the former, a black horse, signifying famine, that terrible judgment; and he that sat on the horse had a pair of balances in his hand (v. 5), signifying that men must now eat their bread by weight, as was prophesied <Lev. 26:26>, “They shall deliver your bread to you by weight“. That which follows in v. 6, of the voice that cried, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny, and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Thus apparently there will be many starving, yet some living the good life. It is interesting that the word “balances”, or “scales” is used for the Greek word zugos. Zugos is interpreted “yoke” every place but here. Thus, at that time the world will literally be slaves yoked to the kenites and NWO.

As we continue even further toward the beginning of chapter 6, V4 describes "peace"

being taken from the earth. When peace is taken, there is war. We also see in verse 4 the truth that there must BE peace on earth at the time described in verse 4, in order for it to be taken away (by men) and restored by Satan later. Verse 3 instructs us that these events happen as the second seal is opened.

Rev 6:2

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (KJV)

The rider on the white horse, verse 2, appears after the first seal is opened. He is “armed “ with the fake rainbow ,”toxon” in the Greek. Think of what this rainbow represents. Father Himself used the rainbow as a token of His peace with man, shown to Noah after the Flood. This fabric rainbow “toxon” is indeed deception, and a poor substitute for Father’s covenant. BUT this horse is not ridden by Satan de facto (in person) as many would have you believe. It is not anti-christ, but it is from that spirit of antichrist, none other than the religious denominations who choose bits and pieces of the Word, mix it with their denominational traditions and have set about spreading their version of Jesus. These so-called “Christian” denominations have been around for a very long time. Even before Paul wrote his letters condemning it. The guy on the White horse should be very familiar to us all. Men give him his crown, probably a pointy hat and a priestly robe too. He is out to “conquer” all those he can, for his denomination.

Look at the word “conquer”.

3528 nikao-

to conquer;

to carry off the victory, to come off victorious

1) used of Christ, victorious who was over all His foes

2) used of Christians who hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes, and temptations, and persecutions

3) when one is arraigned or goes to law, to win the case, maintain one's cause

3528 nikao (nik-ah'-o);

from 3529; to subdue (literally or figuratively):

KJV-- conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

This word “Nikao” is the first part of the word Nikolaitans, as mentioned in Rev 2, verses 6 and 15. Could this be putting denominational theory to rule over the Ekklesia instead of God’s Word? Jesus says He hates it. We all do too.

Rev 2:15

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. (KJV)

3531 Nikolaites-

Nicolaitans = "destruction of people";

a sect mentioned in Rev. 2:6,15, who were charged with holding the error of Balaam, casting a stumblingblock in front of the ekklesia of God by upholding the liberty of eating things sacrificed to idols as well as committing fornication

3531 Nikolaites (nik-ol-ah-ee'-tace);

from 3532; a Nicolaite, i.e. adherent of Nicolaus: KJV-- Nicolaitane.

Literally, this word means “ruler over the laity“. Christ Himself has said that those who would be greatest should be the servant of all. Not the ruler.

Thus there is no convincing evidence that Satan de facto is to be found anywhere within this sixth chapter.

The Seventh Seal

Chapter 7 of Rev describes the sealing of the 144000, each of whom have absorbed the teaching and meaning of the signs of the 2 witnesses. The time is growing short now. At the time of the loosing of this seventh seal, we are almost certainly well within the last year of the earthly sojourn of the 2 witnesses, and possibly even the last six months. I say this based on the timeline established from the “Days of Daniel” study. There it was found that from the time that the “locusts” appear in Ch 9, until the 1335th day is to be 185 days. In Rev. chapter 8:

1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. (KJV)

Many places in the Word, “hour” is used to designate a very short span of time, not necessarily an hour as we know it, but a short period, for sure. It follows that half an hour is even shorter!

It is reasonable to assume that the “fire” from the Altar is nothing less than the Word of God. He always gives us ample warning.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets. (KJV)

Let’s examine some of the Old Testament references about this time.

Jer. 4:19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

20 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

21 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. (KJV)

And, as for protection of the Elect,

Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. (KJV)

Isa 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. (KJV)

Isa 54:8-10 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee. (KJV)

From V9 above , we might recall the Master’s Words in Matt 24:37 and Lk 17:26; “It will be like it was in the days of Noah”.

Thus in this “moment”, while the voice of Father is used to get the attention of His wayward children, His Elect will be covered by one Hand, while He beckons for the destruction of those things of the world with His other hand.

The “half an hour” of Rev 8:1 is also a unique word. It is only used this once in the New Testament, and is the equivalent of the “moment” in the O.T. passages above. We see both the destruction of the NWO and the protection given during this moment by Father to His Children.

As previously noted, the 2 witnesses have the power to shut heaven, given them by Father Himself. The opening of this seventh seal possibly marks the beginning of the “evil time” of

Amos 5:13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time. (KJV)

And in Zech 2:13,

Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. (KJV)

Part 2 -- The Trumps

Rev 8:6-12

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. (KJV)

Perhaps the natural plagues striking earth brought on by the sounding of the first 4 trumps given in this chapter are produced by the 2 witnesses, but in either case, it is sure that they will be blamed on them. This is ample reason for unrepentant and sinful man to “give gifts” and be joyful at their apparent demise as described in chapter 11.

The trumpets were delivered to the angels who were to sound them. Still the angels are employed as the wise and willing instruments of divine Providence, and they are furnished with all their materials and instructions from God our Saviour. As the angels of the churches are to sound the trumpet of the gospel, the angels of heaven are to sound the trumpet of Providence, and every one has his part given him.

To prepare for this, another angel must first offer incense, v. 3. It is very probable that this other angel is the Lord Jesus, the high priest of the church, who is here described in his sacerdotal office, having a golden censer and much incense, a fullness of merit in his own glorious person, and this incense he was to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, upon the golden altar of his divine nature.

Several questions come to mind. The first one is obvious in that there does not appear to be much time between the sounding of the seven trumps. This may intentionally be brought out in Chapters 6 and 8 thru 9 for those that choose to see by the fact that virtually every verse begins with the word "And".

These chapters, with it's "ands" seems to bring forth an urgency, as if all these things were happening so rapidly that John could scarcely write them down before the next event drew his attention. The seventh chapter allows sufficient time for the sealing of the Elect, those that will see. Since this sealing occurs prior to the opening of the seventh seal and the murder of the 2 witnesses, these are indeed a part of the first fruits to Father, and occurs prior to the appearance of either the locust army or Satan de facto.

Secondly, I am reminded of the words of Christ in Matt 18:18-20

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (KJV)

Hence, it is the stand and testimony of the 2 witnesses and their followers, the Elect, who loose the enemy of creation that Father has had bound in Heaven since the time of the temptation of Christ. It is through their testimony on earth that Father allows the angels of the trumpets to announce the plagues on earth.

Thirdly, the judgments of the sixth seal and the plagues at the sounding of the first four trumps appear to be but a continuance, growing more severe with each event. The silence in heaven of 8:1 is significant since it certainly is a representation of the ability of the 2 witnesses to “shut Heaven” (11:6). It is also quite probably the first half of the “hour” of Rev 3:10 and 17:12.

Thus, if we think we can count to "6", by our own desires, and we believe we can watch the seals being opened and hear the trumps blow, we sure had better be using our spiritual eyes and ears to count them.

The Lord has promised us the Kingdom, as He promised the children of Israel the promised land.

Luke 12:32, Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (KJV)

In the time of Joshua, Father used the Faith of the children and the sound of trumpets to conquer the city of Jericho, which was the first conquest in the promised land. Study that event and you will see many things that are parallel to our inheritance of the kingdom.

1) The city had been spied out with 2 witnesses. An inhabitant of the city, who obviously spoke the same language as the spies offered them shelter, probably sustenance as well as safe passage out of the city in return for their promise of deliverance. Rahab knew that the Lord had given them the victory. As a “seal” she used the scarlet cord to ensure their recognition. The scarlet cord is representative of both the Blood of Christ and the continuance of the line of Judah-Zarah. (Gen 38:27-30)

2) Jericho represented the pride of the land of canaan in that day. It’s walls were storied. Father instructed that the city was to be completely destroyed and the city burnt with fire, and all that lived within it was to be killed, both man and beast, save Rahab and her house. Even as it was done, however. Achan the troubler took of the gold of the city, and brought Father’s wrath upon His children.

3) The city was given warning by the sounding of the trumps. They knew that the wrath of God was near to fall on them, yet they trusted in their walls to withstand. Thus the great City, modern Babylon, made by the labor of the slaves, trading merchandise for the souls of men will be destroyed by the Trumps of God.

In LK 21, Jesus says:

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

19 In your patience possess ye your souls. (KJV)

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (KJV)

After the sealing, Fathers Elect are ready to fulfill this prophecy. The sounding of the first four trumps which result in the fearful sights and signs from heaven are attributed to the nutty Christians and precisely to their 2 cheerleaders by a non-believing world. As prophesied, even BEFORE these plagues of the first four trumps of chapter 8, many of the sealed elect will be delivered up to kings and rulers, and yes many will be put to death for their faith in the Lord. Satan himself will not have arrived yet, but perhaps the false prophet and his henchmen heralding the “deliverance” of the “angels” of the locust army will be extant at this time.

The second and third trumps produces a blow to the earth by a mountain burning with fire and a burning star, which could be comets or meteoroids. In the “things” series, part 2 we saw an explanation by Velikovsky of the results of such an impact. It is quite well recorded in history that Father uses His creation to deliver His children. This is well documented in the book of Exodus, as we came out of Egypt under the hand of Moses.

Christ said He has shortened the time. At the fourth trump, this comes to pass. It is reasonable to postulate that the events of Rev 8:12 pictures an earth spinning a third faster than its normal speed of one revolution per 24 hours, probably the result of cometary impacts. Another cause for the third of darkness is a vast amount of debris in the atmosphere, blocking the light from the sun and moon until it is more directly overhead. Either way, it is certainly it is sufficient to give much of humanity heart failure.

Chapter 9:

The locust army appears at the fifth trump. In 9:1, another “star” falls from Heaven. This one, however is not a physically destructive one. It is described as an entity, called a “him”. For as Christ was preceded by John Baptist, Satan will certainly be preceded by his messenger. This “him” summons a legion of “angels” from their demonic pit abode (the locusts) and they proceed to convert all of humanity that they can to belief in their messiah. They show forth the promise of him to come, with all sorts of religious poison, even doing miracles. Don’t read over verse 6.

Rev 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. (KJV)

Their messiah has the power over death, and such miracles will win the minds of the many. Satan indeed holds the power of death!

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (KJV)

Job 2:6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. (KJV)

Matt 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (KJV)

In 9:13, the sixth trump is sounded. The final assault of mankind is launched on each other, most probably directed at the land of the Elect and the 2 witnesses. (read the USA) The last great army of man is launched on their mission. My opinion is that at this time will be fulfilled the passage of Eze chapter 39. It is at this time that Father will fight for us. We will be powerless as the armies come against this land. It is as five-sixths of the armies of gog and magog are destroyed by a great hail from heaven that Satan will appear in all his excellence. He will claim to be the savior of Israel, having just destroyed the invading armies with his mighty hand. This will deceive all but the very elect, I’m afraid. The whole world will worship the beast as he brings forth peace to the land, feeding the multitudes and withholding death and disease. This earth age is in its last 44 days. The 2 witnesses and the Elect are in their last 40 days. Time is growing short, and the Holy Spirit is working on planet earth. Satan is in a quandary over what to do about these last Christians.

Oh, beloved brothers and sisters, never doubt the following fact. Satan WILL know you. You WILL

know him. Next door neighbor personally, from a very long time ago, even the first age.

40 days after his parousia Satan kills the witnesses, who may even be the last 2 of the Elect left on this earth. (see Rev 6:11 and Deu 32:36). See also the “days of Daniel” post.

Chapter 10 is a clue. Here John is instructed by the Angel to “eat” the book. Make it a part of your heart and mind. Digest it all, for you must yet prophesy and be delivered up to the seat of the beast..

After this the seventh trump is sounded, and the last day of this earth age is begun. During this 1334th day, all seven vials of Gods wrath is poured out on all who remain.

But on day 1335, the eighth day dawns, and as Father says, Blessed and happy are those that come to day 1335. (Daniel 12:12) Blessed indeed.

Love to you in Yashua’s precious name.
