"I often wonder what will remain in 100 years, and what will others know of our lives?
Stand within a stone foundation where the dwelling long ago has rotted back to nature. Imagine the lives of the people
who lived there: the woman who sowed, harvested and cooked, the man who spent his days at hard labor only to have it decay
after he is gone.
Who else will understand and know? What then is left? The memories of our times of labor, our times of rest and play.
In the end, our memories are all we'll ever have."
