This is a contest I entered by Pontiac, NASCAR, America Online and EA Sports to Design the paint scheme for the 2003 Daytona 500 pace car. The pacecar is the all new 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix G-Force. I was selected as 1 of 5 grand prize finalist for the winning paint scheme,
and went to the 2003 Daytona 500 to see the unveiling of the winning pacecar paint scheme and the Daytona 500. Unfortunetly, it was not
the paint scheme you see above pacing the field during the race.
The winning paint scheme was selected by an online voting poll at, www.pontiac.com/pacecar beginning October 25th, 2002, and ending November 26th, 2002. Thanks for your support, and to all of you
who voted!

Being an alumni from the John Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, I was invited to enter Art In Motion. Art In Motion is an exciting, one time only, art contest occurring throughout May of 2003 in greater Indianapolis. The state-wide initiative celebrates the world’s foremost racing event, the Indianapolis 500, while showcasing the arts in Indianapolis, supporting tourism and encouraging partnerships. This project will highlight some of the most unique and talented artists through the creation of “art cars”, using a blank racing car replica as their canvas. This innovative car will be on display at a location selected by the sponsor, with a concentration on downtown Indianapolis. Downtown locations will be around Monument Circle, and other high traffic areas,
or at the sponsor's downtown place of business. Be looking for the finished car in downtown Indianapolis during the month of May.

The paint scheme you see above is designed for the purpose to finally get Dale Jarrett to Race The Truck. Dale Jarrett has not actually raced this paint scheme in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck, but I am hoping he finally will. The above paint scheme has been submitted to UPS, Robert Yates Racing and Dale Jarrett, in hopes that they will place Dale Jarrett in a one race promotion to finally race the brown truck. If you agree, and think UPS, Robert Yates Racing and Dale Jarrett should race the truck above, send them a letter voicing your support to the following:
