Angora Goats

Angora goats originated in Turkey, being prized for their strong lustrous Mohair fleeces. "The Diamond Fiber" has many uses, from the finest sweaters and shawls to the strongest upholstery and carpet fiber. The goats themselves are quiet and gentle in nature and are well suited as pets and 4H projects. In all our experience, in all the goat world, they are the EASIEST on fences, and the EASIEST to handle.

Angora goats will provide you with many pounds of wonderful fiber, while eating your blackberries and pasture, and keeping your sheep, horse or Llama company. The fiber is sold to hand spinners, and if it is good fine quality can get over $10.00 a pound. Angora goats do require your Love and attention. They also require; fencing, freedom from predators, shelter, shearing twice a year, foot trimming, de worming, and your attention when kidding.
