I was born in Plant City, Florida to my wonderful, Godly parents, Chuck and Debbie. My mom is an occupational therapist, a piano teacher, a freelance writer, an avid tennis player, and my best friend. My dad runs his own business (Financial Alternatives), stays active by consistently running at the gym (as a child I told
everyone he was without a doubt the strongest man in the world), is a health fanatic and a computer/technology genius,
and truly has a servant's heart. He knows something about almost any topic at
hand and is certainly full of limitless sports and Biblical knowledge.
I have one older brother, Matthew, who resides in Orlando, Florida. He gained his Master’s degree in Business
this summer and has accepted a prestigious position at a bank. His long-time
girlfriend, Jessica, will soon be moving to California as she has taken a job at a highly-esteemed hotel out
there. We’ll surely miss her!
I became a Christian at the age of five. Although I didn’t truly
understand the full meaning of such a decision until a few years later, I did comprehend the concept of asking Jesus
into my heart and have strived to live my life accordingly ever since.
I was involved in competitive gymnastics for 12 years but after many injuries and the desire to become one of those
coveted teenagers with a social life, I made the switch to basketball in the 6th grade. It became my life. I played for my school team as well as
AAU in the “off season” – my true passion.
I attended the small Seffner Christian
Academy from K-3 up until the 10th grade when I decided to make
the switch to a much larger, more known public school: Armwood
High School. I played ball there
for the three remaining years and went on to fulfill my life-long dream of playing college basketball.
I began dating my fiancé, Josh, towards the beginning of our Senior Year of High School. I had the biggest crush
on him for a while and he finally got the nerve to ask me out. We've been together four happy years and can't wait
to become man and wife.
I attended and played for Warner Southern College for one year. It turned
out not to be all I had hoped it would be, hence the one year.
I attended Suncoast II, School of Massage Therapy,
located in Tampa, Florida and then became a licensed massage therapist. I opened my own practice and truly enjoy my profession.
I am currently in school to become an occupational therapy assistant. I also run my massage therapy
business and put in a couple nights a week at a local chiropractor’s office. I
stay exceptionally busy.
