Hula Kahiko is the dance of ancient Hawai'i. All are welcome and encouraged to join in! Class is open to both youths and adults, and is suitable to men & women of all ages and levels of fitness and dance experience.




Pre-registration is now open for the Fall/Winter session of the HULA KAHIKO WORKSHOP. This is a beginning level class offering introduction to and instruction in basic hula posture, hand gesture and various styles of pre-missionary era Hawai'ian dance. Students may wear comfortable attire, sarongs (also known as 'pareau') or the traditional hula practice skirt (called pahu skirts), w/o shoes.  
Previous Hula or other dance experience helpful but not req'd .
