E Komo Mai! Welcome!
Mahalo Nui Loa for logging on to the...
Halau Hula Manu O'o website.
Organized in 1986, the halau specializes in traditional dances of Hawai'i Nei (Hula Kahiko). The group performs
rare chants, time honored classics and debuts original dance pieces.
The charmed voices of Manu O'o (the black Honey-Eaters) unite with traditional instruments to accompany
our dancers as they depict ancient Hawai'ian folklore, myths and legends in our own inimitable style.
Repertoire is from the sacred hulas, classical dances to honor Hawai'ian royalty and reflections of
dance from categories across the wide spectrum of ancient style.
E ho'onanea! Relax and enjoy photos from the Solano Stroll Festival!
