Treasure Chests!

 

The stuff of Pirate Dreams!

These are (fairly!) simple wood chests I made as Christmas gifts for family. A simple plywood box and an intricately shaped lid are all it takes. They measure about 9 by 9 by a foot wide.

I went for the traditional treasure chest top rather than a simple curved top. It was more difficult to build that way, but the results were worth it.

I made 12 of them, but not assembly line style where all the pieces are made at once then assembled.

These were all made one at a time, start to finish and no two are at all alike.


If the only had some good loot in them!?!
