Kitai, Chigusa: 

Began her koto study at the age of five under the guidance of Ikyo Suda, the founder of Wakabakai with Yamada School. Also began shamisen study at the age of ten. Studied under Ikuko Takada while gaining an engineering degree at a college in Japan. Performed as a soloist while studying at a graduate school in Ithaca, New York. Studied under Madame Kuniko Takamura, the founder of Seattle Miyagi-kai and Marcia Takamura since 1999. Chigusa works as a landscape architect and also dances flamenco in Seattle.

Honda, Sachiko:

Currently, Sachiko is on a break. Busy at work and school, and enjoys to play violin.

Kurauchi, Shiho:

Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, with an emphasis on Eurhythmics. Worked as a music instructor at schools in Kyoto, Japan. Studied koto from Akemi Tatemichi, a master at Sawai Sokyoku-in Koto School. Taught music as a substitute instructor in Seattle Public Schools as well as at a private school in Seattle. Shiho is currently the exclusive pianist at Waldorf School, after teaching accompanist. She also teaches beginning koto lessons privately. Group's music writer as well as base koto player.

Shiho Kurauchi released her new album collaborating with other musicians. They wrote original numbers for the album and played them with koto, base koto, variety of flutes, harps and more. Very meditating and inspiring. For more information please click.
