applying her skills outside the classroom,
partnering with artist Larry Enge as MONTAGE 48/61. Together, they
have completed several public art projects including work for the cities of Fort Worth, Frisco, Dallas
and Wylie and the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) Art and Design
Program. From 2002 to 2004, she partnered with artist Carol Wilder on public art projects, which included designing the terrazzo floor
and connecting concrete walkways for the new terminal at the Dallas Executive
Airport . Charlotte was included in the
Big Thought/Young Audiences Residency Roster since its inception in 1991 and was honored as the 2005 National Young Audiences Artist of the Year. Her residencies, workshops, teacher training and mural making have taken her to over 50 settings across Dallas. These have included schools, museums, parks, cultural and community centers, shelters
and hospitals. She directed the ArtWorks Program at the Wilkinson Center for six years and served for three years as the Artistic Director for the Dallas
site of the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration. She has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of North Texas and did graduate work in printmaking. |
