My first book seemed to write itself while I was living on Dartmoor during a cold winter in 1991. Walking through some enchanting woods around Haytor convinced me that fairies gathered and danced amongst the flowers. I was spontaneously inspired to write about a fairy who came to live in our human world, so that she may communicate the qualities of her fairy realm, while sharing her observations about this corporal world; it was intended as a gift to the human world.

My mother came up with the name Araminta.

A fairy soul shares lively descriptions of life in this mortal world. Her insights impart wisdom innocence and enlightenment.

Araminta's message is funny, enlightening, perceptive and above all thought provoking

Araminta says that humans can learn a lot from their children, because young ones embody an innocence and purity of consciousness. They have not learnt to hide who they are, so they are authentic in their expression - have adults forgotton how to be real?
