My husband, Tom Oakley
Tom continues having fun in his role as grandpa and is always ready with extra paper and
pencils, books to read, and blocks to build with when Anna is over at the house. We are grateful for our time together
and for the continued chance for us to work (and play!) on projects here at the house. He stays busy with his design
work, with one project in particular right now for a veterinery clinic that has him raving about his canine "clients." Connections
with family and old, dear friends balance out his life.

| Sean and AG |
Our son, Sean Oakley
Sean is working hard at his job with Industrial and Manufacturing Solutions and has found
satisfaction with what he does for them. He recently returned from training sessions in Detroit and Chicago, and when in town,
he works out regularly at the Sports Center where he participates in basketball and volleyball leagues. He is a proud
uncle and loves sharing time and a place with Kate and Anna. He's a pushover when she wants a book read or a ride in
her "Uncle Bub's" truck. We are thrilled to have him nearby, and we cheer him on with all his endeavors.

| Anna Grace |
AG, an active almost three-year-old, seems to be equally comfortable in jeans and dresses. She loves time with music
and was engrossed by the last part of the older student's recital. Afterwards, she skipped around, "helping" with the
break down of the room. She likes to run full speed in the park or here in our backyard, where she also helps plant flowers.
I hope we can keep up with her pace and growth!

Char and Bill (Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa)
Dad continues to improve, finding his old strength and clarity after his successful surgery back in March. He has
been given the all clear by the neurosurgeon who performed the proceedure, and we are enjoying the times we get to have together.

Our daughter, Kate Oakley, with her little one.
Kate is now lead teacher in the 3-year-old classroom at a pre-school she finds much to her liking. She's
also attending classes at UNCC and and through Stanley Community College, but looks forward each day to her evenings
at home together with Anna and Sean. We're proud of all the growth she continues to show in her life and happy for the three of
them experiencing in their own space.

Gracie loves getting to visit with Anna, Sean, Kate, and most especially with Grandpa Bill each Sunday
afternoon. She nuzzles her way under his hand when he's sitting on the couch, and they can sit together contentedly for
hours! She continues happily with her special job as official student greeter during the week.
