Greenwings have a sweet disposition. They are also mischeivous, inquisitive, and intelligent. These "gentle giants" are very social birds and are a good family bird. Talking is limited but can speak clearly.

Blue and Golds are very friendly and make excellent family birds. Intelligent with an outgoing personality. Vocabulary is larger than some of the other macaws. Also speaks clearly.

As with all birds they need structure and rules need to be adhered to. Both are excellent birds when raised as such.
