Policies and Guarantee

                 Parrots are a lifelong commitment. So if you are not prepared to have a messy and noisy house or are not prepared to give a parrot the time and attention it needs then do not purchase one. Parrots are very sensitive and intelligent creatures and needs a home that is respectful of its needs. We will only sell our babies to homes that are responsible and loving.

                                We do not sell unweaned babies or do not take in trades. We do not for several reasons. If you are looking for a "cheap" bird then we are not the aviculturist to buy from. Our babies are some of the best tempered, well socialized and loving babies you will find. We also do not give out veterinary advice, if you belive your bird is in need of medical attention then take it to the vet. And unfortunatley, I do not sell to pet stores or wholesellers. I prefer to find my babies excellent homes.

                                 Babies are not weaned by a schedule, they wean when they are ready. They are also allowed to fledge before their wings are trimmmed. Babies are socialized to different humans, bathing rituals, and environmental settings.

                                  Babies are guaranteed in writing to be in excellent health and free of congenital and genetic defects at the time of delivery and for 72 hours afterward. We encourage you to take your new baby to a vet within this time. If the bird is found to have a condition which affects it's health, we will at our discretion incur the cost of returning the bird to good health or replace the bird with another of the same species and value. If the condition is determined to be too costly, life threatening, or results in death we will at our discretion and upon return of the bird to us,either replace the bird with one of the same or similar species and value or provide the buyer with a refund of the purchase price of bird. In case of death, the bird must be refridgerated, and not frozen and a necropsy performed to determine liability.

                                    In any event that buyer agrees that Cockatoo-dle-doo Aviary shall have first right of repurchase should the buyer find it necessary to transfer ownership of said bird for any reason at any time during the life of the bird.
