Highlight importance of thinking about internationalization issues if the program could have international appeal. Rewrite is costly!

My program's are sold internationally. I have come a long way in learning what works and what does not. Most programs written today would fail dismally in the international arena.

I have begun learning more about the intricacies behind internationalization of programs, specifically providing multi language support. My top selling country after the USA is Germany. Since my programs sell all over the world it has become important to consider my international market. My first serious attempt with this has been with an Active X control I wrote for CJ 4x that improves the simple currency converter "Window" in the CJ 3x program. This control with the appropriate language pak can determine Locale and auto load the appropriate language pak automatically.
