Chas. himself just recently said that he enjoyed the solitude of the graveyard shift, although after chatting with him in early April '02, I noticed that he keeps "regular" hours and enjoys managing his meat industry equipment sales business in Texas and spending time with his family. Chas. was the cartoonist/creator of the "Rat Pack" logo. In addition to his Rat being painted on every one of the vehicles our detachment owned, he did a series of cartoons for the "Rodent Review", the detachment newpaper. Our particular group of Airmen expressed our feelings about our tour and the war in some very creative mediums. It's no mystery that we were all in the photo biz! |
