The Crisis Center of East Alabama is a Suicide/Crisis intervention telephone hot-line. When you have any kind of problem, and don't know where to get help, call someone who cares. We accept collect calls from Lee and Chambers Counties in Alabama, and from West Point, Georgia.

	The Crisis Center is an independent, non-profit, volunteer organization supported by the United Way of Lee County, The Valley United Fund, groups organizations, churches, and individual donations.
	We also provide KidLine, a telephone support service for Lee County Children.  And we provide Instant messaging with Yahoo at: crisiscenterofeastalabama  & AIM at: crisiscenteraubu & MSN at: crisiscenter@earthlink.net & ICQ at: 352066060
	The Crisis Center is a Volunteer organization. We provide approximately 40 hours of training in listening and crisis intervention skills. Volunteers are asked to work one shift per week, scheduled as they choose. If you would like to volunteer, please call!
