Again, special roundtable with Lewis Martin on Eagle Boards of Review. This will be a great meeting and one we all need to see. Also, on a different note, Rod McDonald is no longer SM of the Sandyville Troop 441. He's not left Scouting, though. He's moved down in age to be the Cubmaster for his youngest son's Cub Pack 441. We wish him well in that change. He's still going to try to be involved in our Troop. If you see Rod, wish him well.

Announcements:

If you have any great places to visit to highlight, please let me know. I'd like to put some links here for places to visit for us all to see. Some of mine and my wife's are: Gettysburg and Antietam Battlefields, and Jamestown/Yorktown/Colonial Williamsburg. All these have special hiking patches you can earn for doing the activities listed. Jamestown is going to be celebrating it's 400th Anniversary in 2007 and it's a neat place to go to. It also has a working archaeology dig and a boat trip to see Eagles in the wild that are great. Antietam/Gettysburg both have longer hikes and Antietam requires a great working knowledge of the compass to comlete. Both have nearby camping facilities, although, you must register for the Gettysburg one nearly a year in advance and use a lottery system for the BSA area. There are other regular campgrounds all over, though, so you don't have to use the BSA one.
