Back to Rescue Horses

PMU Foal-US Born

Tawni is the first foal born at Spirit of Equus Rescue. A sweet, gentle little lady from the day she was born, Tawni slipped into this world during the night and we missed her debut. At 6 AM on May 4, 2008 when we discovered her napping with mom standing over her, we started imprinting her.  Tango, her mom, was very cautious but did not push us away from her new baby. So Tawni learned to trust humans from her first day on earth.

Tawni has grown into a beautiful lady, integrated into a herd of 7 along with her mom, and enjoys playing with the older geldings, especially herd boss, 17 year old Splash.

Tawni is halter trained, leads, and is learning her Parelli games. As long as her handler is gentle, Tawni is very cooperative and easy to work with.

We hope to find just the right forever home for this beautiful healthy and happy girl.
