Back to Rescue Horses

Splash is an Arabian/Paint gelding who was the director's first horse. As the rescue developed, Splash became the herd leader and participant in our classes so it was only natural he become part of the Rescue formally.

Splash was into barrel racing and perhaps gymkhana in his early career. He has become only a pleasure horse after the Director purchased him. Due to back issues which respond nicely to chiropractic and bodywork and some developing arthritis, Splash isn't ridden regularly. He is an arena horse. He does not like leaving the stable.

We are open to leasing Splash on-site as the director would never dream of giving him up! So on-site lease is an option for him. He is a fun horse to ride, standing only 14.2HH. He is very good with lite aids and ridden in a rope halter and synthetic treeless saddle. He requires a short, light female rider.

Splash is currently 17 years old, in good health and plenty of spunk left in him for a fun ride!
