CHICAGO magazine's Fall FASHION supplement features hats by Eia Millinery Design.
The FASHION issue, also distributed with Texas Monthly magazine, can be seen online:
"The New Sophisticates"
at www.chicagomag.com/Chicago-Magazine/Fashion/
The year's highlight was Charles Sturt University's invitation
to instruct and lecture at the 2007 International Millinery Forum in Australia. London's HAT MAGAZINE (April/May/June) reported
on the IMF, including Eia's experiences there.
An essay by Eia Radosavljevic, "Looking Forward: The Future
of Hats" plus an editorial page of her work, appeared in HAT LIFE 2007, an annual trade publication out of New York City.
Fall
& winter exhibits of hat art by Eia Millinery Design include:
Zoë Gallery's ongoing group exhibition, 17 Van
Buren St. in Joliet.
Mon. - Fri. 11 - 2, or by appointment: 708-481-2120
FLATFILE galleries' Chicago Artists
Month group show of art-to-wear.
TLD Design Center & Gallery's HATS 2007 exhibition with Eia as featured artist,
October 8 - November 30.
Eia Millinery Design vitrine exhibit in The Drake Hotel arcade, Michigan Ave. at Oak St.
The
Raymond Hudd Millinery Award, created and spearheaded by Eia in 2007, received coverage in London's HAT MAGAZINE (July/Aug/Sept)
including photos of the SAIC winners. Tony Liu, 1st place winner, went on to intern in New York with milliner Eugenia Kim.
Please contact Eia re: donations for the 2008 Raymond Hudd Millinery Award.
Eia's Advanced Headwear Concepts
and 3D Embellishment courses begin in January 2008, along with a new Continuing Studies Course (email Eia for more information.)
The spring 2008 courses will take place in the SAIC Fashion Design Department's new, larger facility. Works by the headwear
students will be featured in the Garfield Park Conservatory's March Fleurotica benefit fashion show event.

Eia
was invited to be a panelist in FLATFILE galleries' "Wearing Your Art on Your Sleeve", a Chicago Artists Month panel
discussion on how art crosses the boundaries from the wall to the body.
Millinery workshops by Eia took place at TLD Design
Center & Gallery in July, and again in October.
