We are Fat City, a five piece
classic rock and blues band that has been together and performing in the Central Florida
area since 1994. The line-up consists of 2 Guitars, Bass, Keyboards and Drums. We're known
for our great variety of classic rock, pop, dance and blues rounded out with the unique
feature of all the members in the band singing. This feature sets us apart from others in
that we all sing lead and harmonize together eliminating the fatigue of hearing the same
vocalist all night.
Pat covers the lead and rhythm guitars as well as
sings bout' 40% of our material. Next in the line up is Dave laying down the low end
on bass and blowing the harp when he gets the urge. Dave also sings about 40% of our
tunes. Next up is our other lead and rhythm guitarist Mark. Mark is seemingly
capable of playing every instrument, and had originally started playing as a
drummer. Mark and Pat's styles compliment each other perfectly. Ronnie is our
keyboard player, then there's Steve, not-so-quietly going about his business on the drums.
The band has seen many changes over the years, and we continue to play
with the same enthusiasm we've had as teenagers. We always enjoy our time
playing, even when the Florida elements, ( such as weather ) conspire against us. If
you like classic rock, blues and enjoy dancing and having a good time, then Fat City is
the band for you.
